The four mile long Amethyst Lake is famous for its large aggressive Rainbow Trout, where five and six pounders are not unusual and trout as large as 12 pounds have been caught. Just steps away from the lodges lies the dock, with its selection of rowboats and canoes waiting for the anxious fisherman. Moat Lake, a one mile long lake in the North West corner of the valley is well stocked with Rainbows up to 18 inches and offers spectacular dry fly fishing when the lake is calm. A National Park Fishing Licence is required and may be obtained in Jasper townsite or at our lodge.
