Hiking

Those who prefer to do their exploring on foot will find endless new territory to discover and enjoy in a quiet peaceful setting.

Guests who enjoy taking pictures will find themselves in a virtual paradise. There is a wide array of wildflowers, as well as numerous types of wildlife; including mountain goat, caribou, moose, bear, osprey and eagles.

All our hiking guests are self guided. We require our hikers stay for a minimum of 2 nights. We highly recommend hikers leave between 8 and 9 a.m. to ensure they have adequate time to reach our lodge. Most of our hiking guests arrive mid afternoon. Upon arrival you will check into your cabin as well as given a camp orientation to help familiarize yourself with our surroundings. Our meal times are at 8:00 a.m., noon, and 6: 00 p.m.

The hikers package includes your own cabin, all meals and snacks as well as, access to the boats and canoes on Amethyst and Moat Lakes. Please be aware that the hikers package does not include dayrides or having your gear brought in on horseback. Dayrides are for those guests who sign up for the horseback package. If you are interested in having your gear brought in on horseback an additional charge will apply. Please contact us for details.
